CO-SCHOLASTIC: MPS promotes co-curricular activities for the holistic development of the students. These activities will be graded on a five point grading scale (A-E) and will have no descriptive indicators. No up scaling of grades will be done.

Work education is a distinct curricular areas for students for participation in social, economic and welfare activities. Student gets a sense of community service and develops self-reliance

Art Education

By the concerned teacher

Art Education constitutes and important area of curricular activity for development of wholesome personality of the students. Students will select one or more forms of creative arts.

Health and Physical Education (Sports/ Martial Arts/Yoga/ NCC etc)

By the PE Teacher

Preferably sports must be given a regular period. students should be provided opportunities to get professionally trained in the area of their interest. Indigenous sports, Yoga and NCC must be encouraged in the school.

Discipline (Attendance. Sincerity, Behaviour, Values). Discipline significantly impacts career shaping and it helps build Sincerity, Good Behaviour and values develop strength and foster unity and co-operation. Therefore, the element of discipline has been introduced. Class teacher will be responsible for grading the students on a 5-point scale (A-E).

CURRICULAM: Madha Public School is affiliated to CBSE and follows the curriculum prescribed by CBSE and NCERT textbooks are prescribed for classes VI to XII.
The school follows LEAD curriculum for classes KG to Class V. Every concept is taught through the 5Cs approach, ie., Connected to previous learning, Connected to life,Caters all learners, Contextual, Concentric.
ASSESSMENT PATTERN
Rules for Examinations:
Attendance is compulsory for all tests and examinations held during the year, failing which the student will be awarded zero. No consideration will be given to the absentees except on medical grounds, at the sole discretion of the Head of the school. It is the responsibility of both students and their parents to ensure that they do not miss any Written Tests or Examinations.
Subjects like Computer Science, Third language, PE, Art, Music and Sports will also be graded.
Students reporting late for examinations will not be given any extra time for answering the question papers.
Unfair Means: Students found using any unfair means during any of the examinations, will be awarded zero in that subject. Parent and the concerned student will be summoned and asked to provide an explanation. A repeat of such cheating in future will result in prompt issue of a Transfer Certificate without notice.
Requests for the issue of Progress Cards before the declaration of results will not be entertained.
Exam dates are decided in advance. Exam / Assessment cannot be conducted on any other date/day for parent’s personal convenience/requirement.
Attendance:
Every student must have a minimum of 75% attendance, failing which he/she will not be allowed to sit in the final examination / will not be promoted to the next higher class.
Please discourage the student from missing an exam unless on grounds of extreme emergency like a contagious disease, a fracture etc.
